High-speed spray chamber - civil structure

The civil-engineering-style spray booth’s interior walls are waterproof, and include the following components:

● Hard polystyrene flow distributor ensures uniform airflow, enhancing the efficiency of heat and moisture exchange. The deflector plate is equipped with a maintenance and inspection door for easy access to the spray chamber for servicing and maintenance.

● The ABS water deflector, which separates air from moisture, is currently the world’s superior-performing, highly efficient, and low-resistance water deflector.

● 6mm-caliber nozzle made of plastic; its unique nozzle design enhances atomization performance, delivers superior efficiency, and reduces the likelihood of clogging. The nozzle features a screw-on spray cap that is securely fastened to the straight tube using a quick-release clip for easy installation and removal.

● The sprinkler pipes are made of PVC and are connected using a coupling method.

● The accessories include a dedicated water pump suction pipe, float valve, overflow pipe, and more.

Flow-guiding grille

Application: Installed at the inlet of the spray chamber, upstream of the spray nozzles, its function is to reduce turbulence in the air entering the spray chamber and thereby enhance the efficiency of heat and moisture exchange between the air and water.

Waterstop

Application: Air containing water droplets flows in a tortuous path through the middle of the baffle plate. Due to inertia, the droplets adhere to the surface of the baffle, forming a thin water film that effectively separates the suspended water droplets from the air, thereby preventing excessive moisture content in the air from causing corrosion to equipment downstream of the spray chamber.

Spray and discharge combination

Application: The nozzle sprays water into fine droplets, increasing the contact area between air and water and thereby enhancing their heat and moisture exchange. The nozzle features a new type of centrifugal design.

Static water filter

Manual cleaning combined with various configuration options is a cost-effective approach for filtering and recycling water in spray chambers in non-cotton spinning workshops.

Rotating water filter

The filter cartridge is made of corrosion-resistant material, designed to prevent splashing. It features a mesh filter cartridge with backflushing capability, along with a transmission mechanism and motor. The stainless steel material serves as a protective layer.

Usage: Due to the small diameter of the nozzle orifice, when using recirculating water, the water must be filtered to prevent impurities from clogging the nozzle opening.

Specifications: Filter cage diameter is 520, filter cage length is 1044, and filter cage mesh size is 1600 µm.

Nozzle

 

Ø6 high-efficiency centrifugal nozzle—difficult to clog, long service life, and excellent atomization performance.

The atomization pressure range is wide. According to experimental data, when the spray water pressure is reduced from 3 bar to 1.5 bar, the quantifiable atomization effect decreases by only 30%, making this nozzle still one of the best-performing nozzles currently available on the market.

The relationship between the water flow rate and water pressure for a Ø6 nozzle is:

In the formula, w represents the water spray rate, in kg/h; p represents the water spray pressure, in bar, with an applicable range of 1.0–3.0 bar.

Sprinkler pump

For a pump, the speed ratio has a linear relationship with the flow rate ratio, a square-root relationship with the head ratio, and a cube-root relationship with the power ratio. Therefore, for a pump, when the frequency decreases, both the flow rate and the head will decrease—as a matter of fact, the reduction in head may even be greater than the reduction in flow rate.

Therefore, the pump’s performance curve must be matched to the sprinkler system’s characteristics. In variable-frequency operation, the head theoretically declines more rapidly. Thus, selecting an appropriately designed sprinkler system and pump is crucial to ensure that the head does not drop too significantly during variable-frequency operation, thereby maintaining the basic atomization effect.

The pump employs a Kaiquan single-stage centrifugal pump, offering high efficiency, low vibration, and minimal noise. The motor complies with ICE standards and features an IP54 rating, ensuring reliable operation. Its perfect design guarantees leak-free performance, extended service life, and reduces construction investment by 40% to 60%.
