If the air is heated by a tubular heater before being treated with water, it serves as a preheater, raising the air temperature and enhancing its humidification capacity.

If the air, after being treated by water, is heated by a finned-tube heater, it becomes a re-heater, used to compensate for the insufficient heat in the workshop.

Light-tube heaters can be installed either in series or in parallel. When the volume of air to be heated is small and a higher temperature rise is required, a series configuration is recommended; conversely, a parallel configuration is more suitable.
