Axial-flow fan Known as Axial-flow This is because the gas flows parallel to the fan’s axis. Axial-flow fans consist primarily of a fan impeller and a casing; they have a simple structure but place high demands on data accuracy. They are typically used in applications that require high flow rates but relatively low pressure.

Working principle of an axial-flow fan:

As the impeller rotates, gas enters the impeller axially from the inlet and is propelled by the blades on the impeller, thereby increasing the gas’s energy. The gas then flows into the guide vanes. The guide vanes convert the deflected airflow into axial flow while simultaneously directing the gas into the diffuser, where the kinetic energy of the gas is further transformed into pressure energy. Finally, the gas is discharged into the working pipeline.

Applications of axial-flow fans:

It can be used for ventilation or enhanced heat dissipation in metallurgy, chemical engineering, light industry, food processing, medical equipment, mechanical equipment, and civil construction. It can also be installed in series at intervals along long exhaust ducts to increase the air pressure inside the ducts.

Axial Fan Inspection and Maintenance:

1. The operating environment should always be kept tidy, and the fan’s exterior should be kept clean. There should be no debris obstructing the air inlet or outlet. Dust and other debris in the fan and ducts should be removed regularly.

2. It can only operate when the axial-flow fan is completely normal. At the same time, it is essential to ensure that the power supply equipment has sufficient capacity and stable voltage. Work that has not been completed is strictly prohibited. The power supply line must be a dedicated line; temporary lines may not be used for long-term power supply.

3. When an axial-flow fan exhibits abnormal noise, severe motor overheating, live casing, tripped circuit breaker, or failure to start, it should be immediately shut down and inspected. To ensure safety, no maintenance work on the fan is permitted during operation. After repairs, a trial run of about five minutes should be conducted; only after confirming that there are no abnormalities can the machine be officially started.

4. Depending on the operating environment, periodically replenish or replace the bearing with smooth grease. ( During the service life of the motor’s enclosed bearing, there is no need to replace the grease. ) To ensure excellent and stable operation of the fan, the number of oiling operations should be no fewer than... 1000 Hour / Next, close the bearing and the motor bearing, as well as the inner and outer rings of the bearing. 1/3 Fill in zl-3 Lithium-based smooth lubricant; do not operate without oil.
